Massage And Pregnancy
Massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression and relieve muscle aches! Massage, more specifically, improves lymphatic and blood circulation when mild pressure is applied to different muscle groups of the body.
This reduces swelling of the joints. The trick is to seek care from a registered massage therapist. Our therapists with a focus in prenatal health and treatment have training beyond the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario standards. We also offer naturopathic treatments!
You can start massage therapy at any point during your pregnancy
